Meet the Tech

Trevor started learning (and is always continuing to refine) his craft of brass repair in 2018 from Mark Rasmussen of The Windsmith and Windsmith Music. His repair career has involved working with hundreds of customers and dozens of public school clients, ranging from small music programs to universities.

Trevor was the store manager and a brass repair technician at Windsmith Music in Philomath, OR until the business was acquired by Beacock Music in late 2021. While at Beacock, he continued to work on his skills as a repair technician.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Oregon State University, Trevor completed a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Western Oregon University and is currently a middle school band director. As someone in the public school music setting, he knows what school districts and band directors need to keep their brass fleets in working order.

Aside from school business, he also has the opportunity to work on local player's instruments, ranging from customized double horns to professional trumpets and 6-rotor F tubas.
